How do you make an animated icon?
Aug. 11th, 2007 06:27 pmI have a series of pictures I'd like to make into an animated gif, but I'm stuck. I got them all cropped and loaded into QuickTime as an image sequence, so I can see the effect I'll get; but I thought QuickTime could save as animated gif, and it can't.
What do people use to create animated icons, anyway? Is animated gif still the way to go, or is there a format that isn't patented? And what application should I use on a Mac to create said icon?
